I. Intro
Availability: This feature is in beta.
You can batch import data from another base into the target base to quickly combine data in two different tables with the same or similar structures.
For example, if departments maintain their own customer database, they can use this feature to combine their data into a single location for analysis or unified management.
II. Steps
Prerequisites: You need to upgrade to the new version of the database before you can batch import data in Base.
- Open the base and click the table on the left navigation.
- Click Add Record and select Import Into Base.

- On the Import into Base pop-up, configure the following:
- Select a base: Select the base from which you want to import the data. You need to have view and copy permissions for the base in order to select it.
- Note: Templates cannot be imported.
- Select a table: Select the table to be imported.
- Note: Tables from the current base can be imported.
- Select data: Select a view to be imported.
- Field Mapping: Under Field to be imported, select the fields that you want to import into fields under Field in this table. Fields with the same name and type will be automatically filled in for Field to be imported and you can change them as needed. Note: Only fields of the same type as fields in Field in this table can be selected for Field to be imported.

- Click Import in the lower-right corner and the data will be added to the bottom of the table. The import progress is shown in the lower-right corner.
