I. Intro
Number fields can be used to express numerical data in Base. Select a format for your numbers that fits your needs.
II. Steps
Create a number field
Grid view
Click the + icon in the upper-right corner and set the Field type to Number.

Kanban view and gallery view
Click a card to expand it, then click New field at the bottom of the card. Set the Field type to Number.

Set the number format
Set the format: Find the number field and double-click the field name to open the field menu. Select Field format to choose how you want the numbers to be displayed.

Supported formats
  • Nearest integer: 1
  • Round to 1 decimal place: 1.1
  • Round to 2 decimal places: 1.12
  • Round to 3 decimal places: 1.123
  • Round to 4 decimal places: 1.1234
  • Thousands separator: 1,000
  • Thousands separator (with decimals): 1,000.00
  • Percentage: 1%
  • Percentage (with decimals): 1.00%
Delete a number field
Method 1: Find the number field, right-click the field name, and select Delete field.
Method 2: Click the Customize field icon, then click the ··· More icon to the right of the field you'd like to delete. Select Delete to delete the field.
