Use sections on a board

I. Intro
You can organize shapes into sections to make the content of your board easier to manage.

II. Steps
  1. Add a section
Click the Section icon on the left toolbar to open up a menu with four set ratios (16:9, 4:3, 1:1 and A4) and an option for custom ratios. Select a ratio and then click the board to add a section. You can also drag and drop a section onto the board or press Shift + S to add a section.

  1. Edit and adjust a section
  • Background color and opacity: After inserting a section, you can adjust its background color and opacity.

  • Set a title: The default title is Section, which you can edit by double-clicking it. Alternatively, click the title, then click the Rename icon in the floating toolbar. To delete a title, simply delete the text in the title.

  • Move a section: Hover over the section title or click a blank space in the section, then drag it. All shapes in the section will also be moved.

  • Resize a section: Select a section and drag any of its four corners or sides to resize it. The size and placement of shapes in the section will remain unchanged.

  1. Other actions
Select a section to bring up the floating toolbar, then hover over the icon. From here, you can make a copy, paste, duplicate, move backward or forward, lock, delete, remove, or copy the style of the section.
Note: When you remove a section, content in the section will not be deleted. When you delete a section, content in the section will also be deleted.

III. FAQs
Can I delete a section without deleting the shapes in it?
Yes, you can remove the section instead by selecting it to bring up the floating toolbar and hovering over the icon > Remove Section. If you delete the section, content within it will also be deleted.
