ERF.PRECISE function for Sheets

I. Intro
The ERF.PRECISE function returns the result of the Gauss error function.
II. About the function
  • Formula: =ERF.PRECISE(x)
  • Parameters:
  • x: The lower limit for integration.
  • Example: =ERF.PRECISE(0.745)
III. Steps
Use the ERF.PRECISE function
  1. Select a cell and click Formulas on the toolbar, then select Engineering > ERF.PRECISE. You can also directly enter =ERF.PRECISE in a cell.
  1. Enter the parameters in the cell. For example: =ERF.PRECISE(A1).
  1. Press Enter to display the result, which is 0.32862676 in this example.
  1. Drag the + icon in the lower-right corner of the cell to apply the formula to other cells.

Delete the ERF.PRECISE function
Select the cell with the ERF.PRECISE function and press Delete.
