Use quotes in Docs

I. Intro
You can use the quote format to elaborate on the main content or highlight key messages for your readers.
II. Steps
Add quotes
Note: Only text can be quoted.
Markdown
Directly type > Space on a blank line of the document.
/ Quick Insert
Enter / on any blank line or press Space then enter / anywhere in the body of the document and select Quote. You can also enter /quote, and press Enter.

Hover over the + icon that appears in front of a blank line, then select Quote.

Hover over the ⋮⋮ icon that appears in front of a line with content, then select Insert Below > Quote to add a quote underneath.

Move quoted content
Hover over the quoted content to bring up the ⋮⋮ icon, and drag it to move the quote.

Unquote content
Hover over the quoted content to bring up the ⋮⋮ icon, then select the Quote icon.

To remove quotes from multiple lines, select the lines you need, hover over the T icon in the toolbar, and click Quote.

III. FAQs
Why wasn't I able to keep the quote format when I copy and paste it?
To keep the quote format, you have to select and copy the entire content in the quote, or hover over the content and select Copy from the ⋮⋮ toolbar.

To remove the quote format, you can copy just part of the quoted content. You can also copy the entire content in the quote, right-click the location you want to paste to, and select Paste and Match Style.
