Who can perform these steps: Users with edit permission for the document.
You can personalize your documents by adding a cover image, which will appear above the document title. You can choose from over 60 high-quality images from the gallery, including animated images. You can also upload your own image to use it as a cover.

II. Steps
Add a cover
Hover over the document title and click Add Cover and a random cover image will be automatically added above the title.

Edit cover
After adding a cover image, you can change the image, adjust its position, or remove it.
Change image
  1. Hover over the cover image and click Edit Cover > Select Image.
  1. Select an image from the gallery or click Upload an Image to upload an image. Click Random to set random images from the gallery.

Reposition image
When the image is larger than the cover display area, you can move the image to adjust which parts are visible.
  1. Hover over the cover image and click Edit Cover > Reposition Image.
  1. Reposition the image as needed and click Confirm.

Remove cover
  • Hover over the cover image and click Edit Cover > Delete Cover.
  • Hover over the cover image and click Edit Cover > Select Image > Delete.

What is the optimal image size to be used as a document cover?
