How many people can simultaneously edit a document?
  • Starter plan: 50 people.
  • Pro plan: 200 people.
  • Enterprise plan: 200 people.
How many people can simultaneously read a document?
5,000 people.
How many collaborators can a document have?
Different categories of collaborators have different limits as shown in the table below:

  • The total for all these collaborator categories cannot exceed 500. Within this limit:
  • The group chats, departments, user groups and events cannot exceed 200.
  • The video meetings category cannot exceed 15.
  • Collaborators inherited from parent folders and parent wiki space pages are also included in the above limits.
  • Group chats, departments, user groups, and events count as one collaborator each, regardless of how many members they contain.

What is the maximum character limit for a document?
Docs 1.0 supports a maximum of 500,000 characters in one document. Upgraded Docs supports a maximum of 20,000 blocks in one document, and each block can contain up to 100,000 characters.

What is the size limit for previewing files?
The size limit for previewing files in the document is the same as previewing files in Drive. For details, see Size limits for uploading and previewing files in Drive.
What is the size limit for exporting documents?
100 MB. Documents over 100 MB cannot be exported.
How many times can I translate a document?
No limit.
