III. FAQs
After converting a cell's number format to text, why did I get an error when I search for the text using a search formula function?
The cell's number format did not successfully convert to text. You need to first select an empty cell, set the number format to text, and then enter the number. The number will then be in text format.
How can I adjust the date format in Sheets to the date format of a specific language?
The date format is determined by the display language when the spreadsheet is created, and modification is not supported. For example, if the display language is English when you create the spreadsheet, the date format will be in English.
Note: Currently, only the date formats of Simplified Chinese, English, and Japanese are supported.
