III. FAQs
How do I restrict others from printing a document?
If you're the document owner or a collaborator with manage permission, you can restrict others from printing.
  1. Open the document and click Share in the upper-right corner > Permission settings.
  1. Go to Who can duplicate, print or download and make the change as you need. For more information, see Set share, copy, download, and comment permissions for documents.
How do I hide the author, creation date, and other information when printing a document?
Hide the document information in the document first before attempting to print the document.
Why can't I find the "Print" option?
  • If it's a Lark document or sheet, make sure that you're not using the Lark mobile app to print it.
  • If it's a file that you uploaded to Lark Docs, make sure:
  • You're viewing it in the web browser.
  • The file type is one of the following: .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .xlsm, .csv, .ppt, .pptx, .pps, .ppsx, and .pdf.
If you've confirmed the above and still cannot print, it may be that you don't have permission to print the document. Contact the document owner to modify the permission settings.

  1. Open the PDF in your browser and click the ••• icon > Print.
  1. Adjust the print settings based on your needs, including the paper size, number of pages, and more.
