What data is deleted together with the domain?
1. Email addresses
After you delete a domain, all individual organization email addresses, public mailboxes, and mailing list addresses belonging to the domain and its aliases (if any) will be deleted and can no longer be used.
Example: If you delete the domain "example.com", the individual mailbox "John@example.com", the public mailbox "hr@example.com", and the mailing list "project@example.com" will all be deleted.
2. Email data
  • Individual mailboxes
Deleting a domain does not delete email data stored in individual organization mailboxes. Once an administrator creates a new organization email address for a member, the member will be able to access data from their original mailbox.
  • Public mailboxes
Deleting a domain deletes all email data in any public mailboxes under that domain, and this data cannot be recovered.
  • Mailing lists
Mailing lists are only used to distribute emails to mailboxes and do not store any email data themselves.
