I. Intro
🔖
Who can perform these steps: Primary administrators.
To enhance security measures and prevent internal data from being leaked, Lark enables organizations to filter sensitive words and intercept messages that may contain sensitive content. The administrator can define sensitive words, which will then be intercepted if they are used in private chats, group chats, or topic groups.
II. Steps
Open Lark Admin Console, and then click Security > Information Protection > Sensitive word filter.

Click Add in the upper-right corner. Type a sensitive word or phrase, and then press Enter after each word or phrase. Administrators can add one or more sensitive words, and then click Confirm to generate a record of sensitive words. Administrators can also delete sensitive words or other entries.

Note: Each sensitive word or phrase be no longer than 20 characters. A maximum of 50 sensitive words or phrases can be added per batch, and a tenant can have a maximum of 1000 sensitive words or phrases.
When a member uses any of the defined sensitive words or phrases in a private chat, group chat, or topic group, the message will be intercepted. The member will be unable to send the message containing the sensitive word and will receive the following prompt: Unable to send, content includes sensitive words. Messages that cannot be sent because they contain sensitive words will have a red exclamation mark icon next to them.

Note: If a member is unable to send a message, administrators should check whether this message contains a sensitive word.
On the Sensitive word filter page, the administrator can view the number of times each sensitive word was triggered in the last 30 days.
