Admin | Change department group owner

Who can perform these steps: Primary administrators or administrators with Member and Department permissions.
As an administrator, you can create department groups, set the types of employees who will be added to the department groups and fill in department supervisors in the company's admin site. After a department group is set up, the department supervisor will be assigned as the group owner. Click here for detailed procedure of creating a department group.
If no department supervisor was specified when a department group was created, who will be the group owner then?
If the administrator didn't specify the department supervisor when creating the department group, no group owner will be assigned by default. The employee who joins the group first will be automatically assigned as the group owner.
How to change department group owner?
If you need to change the department group owner, the administrator can go to the admin console > Organization > Member and Department,
on the department page, click Edit Department. Change the department group owner and click Save once you're done.

How can I change a non-department group/common group owner?
Administrators can't change the owner of common groups. To change the owner of a common group, the current group owner can initiate an ownership transfer.
