Admin | Purchase a storage upgrade plan

To upgrade your Lark plan or for more information, contact Support or your Customer Success Manager. The Lark Basic plan supports only specific countries and regions.

Who can perform these steps: Primary administrators or administrators with "Billing" permission.
When using features such as Docs, Email, and Minutes in Lark, resources such as documents, images, videos, emails, and meeting recording files created by members will take up the storage space of the organization. When the storage space is insufficient, organization administrators of Lark Basic, Pro, or Enterprise plans can purchase additional storage in the Lark Admin Console.
II. Steps
  1. Go to the Lark Admin Console, click Billing>My Quota, locate Total storage space, and click Top up.

  1. Select the quantity you want to purchase. Confirm that the billing information and order information are correct, select the payment frequency, select I have read and agree to the Customer Terms of Service, and then click Create Order.

  1. After clicking Create Order, you will be automatically directed to a new payment page. On this page, select or add a suitable payment method to complete your payment. You can pay using credit cards, debit cards, or Paypal.
  • Note: At the bottom of the payment page, click Credit / debit card or Paypal Reference to add the corresponding payment method. Once successfully added, the payment method will be available for future orders. For more information on payment method management, see Admin | Manage payment methods.

When does the storage upgrade plan take effect and expire, and how long is the validity period of the storage upgrade plan?
The storage upgrade plan takes effect immediately after the order is successfully paid, and it expires immediately after the validity period ends. The validity period of the upgrade plan is usually one year, but it will not exceed the expiration date of the Lark plan you purchased, depending on the "Start and end time" displayed on the order page.
Which files take up storage space?
The files that take up storage space are mainly divided into the following categories. For more information, see Clean up storage space.
  • Local files that are directly uploaded to Docs.
  • Files saved to Docs from a Lark chat window. Previewing or downloading these files does not use storage space.
  • Images, videos, and attachments added to Docs.
  • Meeting recordings.
How can I monitor the use of storage space?
In the Lark Admin Console, click Billing > My Quota to view storage space usage.
What can the administrator do if the organization runs out of storage space?
You can take the following actions to obtain or free up more storage space:
Why isn't the "Top up" button visible when I purchase the storage upgrade plan?
It might be because your current Lark plan does not support storage upgrades. Once you upgrade Lark to the Basic, Pro, or Enterprise plan, the Top up button will become available, allowing you to upgrade your storage plan.
