III. FAQs
Why doesn't the microphone unmute when I hold the spacebar?
  • This function is not available when you are editing or typing something, such as when using the Magic Share feature, typing in the chat box, or typing in the participant search bar.
  • In order to use this function, the Lark meeting window must be in front of other windows on your screen.
  • If the meeting window was minimized, it must be reopened in order to use this function.
  • If you are using split screen mode on an iPad, tap the split screen where the meeting is located.
If the meeting host has not allowed participants to unmute themselves, can I still press and hold the spacebar to unmute?
When you hold the spacebar, you will see the unmute prompt. Click Send request to ask the host for permission. IF the host agrees, you can press and hold the spacebar to unmute your microphone.
Once you release the spacebar, you will need to send another request the next time you want to unmute.
