Annotate images that you share
🔖
Notice:
  • The presenter can only annotate images in the body of a Lark document. Images in comments, Board, Sheets, Slides, and MindNotes are not supported.
  • Only images of JPG, JPEG, and PNG support annotation. SVG and GIF images are not supported.
The presenter can annotate the shared image in a Lark document during Magic Share to mark the important information for the participants, who follow the presenter's view and read the annotations. The participants can watch the annotation in real time, but can't annotate by themselves.
Note: This feature is only available on Lark version 7.25 or above.
To annotate a shared image:
  1. During a meeting, click Share on the bottom meeting toolbar and select a Lark document in the right Share Docs pane.
  1. Double-click an image in the document body to open it.
  1. Move your cursor and then click Share Annotations in the picture toolbar that appears at the bottom of the image.
  1. In the left toolbar, select Pen, Highlighter, Shape, and other tools to annotate the image.
  1. Optionally, click the Zoom out icon, the Zoom in icon, or other icons at the bottom of the image view to adjust the image size.
  1. If you want to save your annotation, click the Save icon in the left toolbar to download a copy to your local drive.
  • Note: The annotation content will disappear once you close the annotation view if you don't save a local copy.
  1. Click Quit at the bottom of the image view to return to the image preview.

III. FAQs
If I pass on sharing to someone else, will this change what other participants see?
Participants who are following the presenter will see what the new presenter sees. Participants who are viewing the file at their own pace will remain where they are.
Can I share Slides in Magic Share mode?
No. To share a Slides file, click Share in the bottom toolbar of the video meeting, and select a desktop or window from the left half.
Why do I have the view permission for a document, but can't directly share it in Magic Share mode during a meeting?
If the document owner sets the permission of this document as users with edit or manage permission can view, invite, and remove collaborators, then users with the view permission can't share this document in Magic Share mode during meetings. Contact the document owner to change your permission.
If the presenter clicks or taps an embedded link in the shared document, will other participants see the redirected page?
Yes. If the presenter opens the link inside Magic Share without opening it in their browser, the participants who are following the presenter will see what the presenter sees. To return to the original document being shared, click or tap the Go back to "[previous doc]" icon.
Are there system requirements for Magic Share?
Yes.
  • Windows: Windows 7 or above.
  • Mac: macOS 10.11 or above.
  • Android: Android 8.0 or above, with a minimum memory of 3GB.
  • iOS: iOS 13 or above.
Who is the owner of new Docs created for Magic Share?
The person who created the file is its owner. Everyone in the meeting will have edit permission.
Why can't I edit a file that was added for Magic Share?
When local files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or PDF files) are added for Magic Share, participants can only view and comment, and can't edit the file. The person who added the file is its owner.
When I record a meeting and play videos in a shared doc through Magic Share, will the sound of the video be recorded?
No. If you want to record the sound of the video during sharing, do the following:
  1. Click Share on the bottom toolbar.
  1. Select Share computer audio at the left bottom.
  1. Select a window or desktop to share it.
