I. Intro
Lingo administrators can set approvers for different entry subcategories. These approvers can go to the Lingo Admin Console to:
  • View all entries in Lingo
  • Review entries in their assigned subcategory
  • View all review records and entry usage data
II. Steps
Add subcategory approvers
Click Manage Entries > Category in the left sidebar. Click the blank space on the category approver list, then search and select members to set them as approvers.

Click the X icon next to a member's name to remove them.

Must subcategory approvers be Lingo administrators?
No, they don't. Members can be set as subcategory approvers without being Lingo administrators.
Who reviews entries that don't belong to any entry category?
If an entry doesn't belong to any entry category, Lingo administrators can review all entries.
If an entry category is added to a new or updated entry, but that entry category currently doesn't have any related approvers, who will review the entry?
A Lingo administrator who isn't a related approver for any entry category will review it.
Can I be a related approver for multiple entry categories?
Yes. One member can manage multiple entry categories. Simply add them as subcategory approvers to the corresponding subcategories.
I'm a Lingo administrator, and I'm not a related approver for any entry category. Can I review entries?
Yes, Lingo administrators can review all entries.
If I'm a subcategory approver for a specified subcategory, can I review entries in other subcategories?
No, subcategory approvers can only review entries in their own subcategories.
