  • Note: It is the app developer who customizes whether the app has any plan options and whether there is an exclusive customer service group. If you install the trial version of a paid app, you can choose whether to invite others to use the app together in the installation pop-up window. A maximum of 100 members can be invited. After the trial period ends, you can contact the administrator to purchase the paid version.

III. FAQs
Why can't I add an app to my favorites in Workplace?
You can go to the Lark App Directory to install the app or apply to use the app. If you cannot, contact the administrator. After the app is successfully installed or applied, you can directly add it to your favorites in the Workplace.
Why can't I install apps from the App Directory?
It might be caused by the following reasons:
  • The administrator has not enabled Allow members to request to install apps.
  • The app doesn't have a free version or a trial period for the paid version.
  • The app developer has not enabled Members can install app without approval.
Why can't I apply to use apps that are already installed in the organization?
If the administrator has not enabled Allow members to request app access, members cannot apply to use the apps from the App Directory or the custom apps.
Why do I need to apply for authorization when using the app?
If the administrator has enabled the feature of allowing members to install apps without approval, members can install the app and use the app with permissions that do not require approval. When the app needs to use permissions that are not exempt from review, you need to apply to the administrator for authorization.
