I. Intro
🔖
Who can perform these steps: Primary administrators and administrators with Attendance permissions.
Besides the default fields provided by Lark Attendance, the administrators can also set custom fields to help with attendance management and statistics.
II. Steps
Create a new custom field
  1. Go to the Attendance admin console and click Attendance Reports > Field Management.
  1. Click New and pick a template or create a blank field.
  • 250px|700px|reset
  1. Set the field name and type. You can choose from Numeric and Non-numeric for Field Type.
  • Numeric: Information such as attendance days and late-in hours
  • Non-numeric: Information such as attendance results and date information
  1. Set Field calculation rules, which consists of two parts, trigger conditions and result. When the defined conditions are met, the corresponding result will be output; otherwise, the value 0 will be output.
  • Conditions: Set the condition(s) required to obtain the corresponding result. For example, set "actual duration of late-ins is greater than 60 min".
  • You can click Add Condition to add more conditions. The relationship between multiple conditions is "and." This means that all conditions must be satisfied simultaneously in order to obtain the result. For example, set "actual duration of late-ins is greater than 60 min and the actual late-ins is greater than 1 time(s)".
  • Result: You can choose from fixed value and system field value.
  • Fixed value: When the conditions are met, the field result is the value you define here.
  • System field value: When the conditions are met, the field result is the output value of the selected system field, such as the actual duration of late-ins.
  • Note: If this custom field can also be calculated according to other calculation rules, click Add rule to add another set of calculation rules. The relationship between multiple rules is "or", which means either set of calculation rules can be met to calculate the field.
