2. Permission descriptions
The system implements strict permission isolation based on management scopes. This is reflected in two areas:
  • a. Administrators can only view and edit data within their own management scopes.
  • For example, suppose John is a group administrator whose management scope is Department A. If an attendance group contains employees from both Department A and Department B, John can only view data and schedule shifts for members of Department A.
  • b. Administrator permissions are restricted based on their different management scopes.
  • For example, suppose Sally is an Attendance app administrator with attendance group view permissions. Sally can't view attendance groups that don't contain any members in her management scope.
The permissions of each attendance administrator role are listed below:

Why can't an attendance group owner see their attendance group anymore?
Common reason: This usually happens when the organization structure of the attendance group is changed.
Solution:
  1. View new attendance group information
  • Go to the Attendance app and click the attendance rule at the top. View the new attendance group name and owner.
  1. Add management permissions
  • Contact the new group owner and ask to be added as an owner of the attendance group.
