I. Intro

Who can perform these steps: Primary administrators or administrators with "Attendance" permission.
As an administrator, you can customize Request in the Attendance app. Manage settings such as turning it on and off, turning individual request types on and off, and configuring custom request links.
II. Steps
  1. Open the Attendance admin console and go to Administrator > App Settings > Request Settings.
  • 250px|700px|reset
  1. Click Edit to go to the details and turn on Request at the top of the page.
  • On: Request will appear on the Attendance app, allowing users to conveniently submit requests for leave, overtime, and business trips.
  • Off: Request will be hidden from the app, and users won't be able to submit requests using the app.
  • 250px|700px|reset
  1. Turn on or off the request types as needed.
  • On: This request type will appear on the Request page in the Attendance app, allowing members to submit requests.
  • Off: This request type will be hidden from the app, and members won't be able to submit any requests of this type.
  • Note: The Correction request is linked with default correction approval. If you turn off the correction request type, the default correction approval will also be disabled. If you turn on the correction request type, the default correction approval will be enabled. This doesn't impact the customized correction approvals set by the Correction widgets.
  1. Optionally, turn on or off Request records. When it's off, Request records will be hidden from the Request page and members won't be able to view their Request records using the Attendance app.
  • 250px|700px|reset
  1. Optionally, click Edit to the right of a request type to edit the description and change the request method to a custom link.
  • Note: You can't change the icon or name of the request type.
  • Lark Approval: Members will be redirected to Lark Approval to submit the request. If you need to modify the request form or approval flow, you must do so by going to the Approval admin console.
  • Custom link: Members will be redirected to a custom website to submit the request. You can enter a link that will redirect to a page of your organization's internal system.

III. FAQs
Why can't members see the option of "Leave" on their Requests page?
This is mainly related to the configuration in the Attendance admin console or the Approval admin console. The administrator can refer to the following steps to troubleshoot the problem.
  1. The Attendance administrator should go to the Attendance admin console > Administrator > App Settings > Request Settings and confirm that Leave has been turned on. For more information, see Admin | Configure app request modules.
  1. If members still can't see the option, check the Approval settings:
  • If Method is Lark Approval, ask the Approval administrator to confirm all the following settings in the Approval admin console.
  • The corresponding leave approval process exists in the Approval admin console.
  • The members are included in the scope of Who can submit this request in Basic info of the leave approval process.
  • If Method is a custom link, make sure that the members can access the target system of the link.
