You can create a running list to collect information from a group chat. List entries are added to a base, with an auto-generated dashboard for data analysis.
Note: Running lists count toward your automated workflow usage.
II. Steps
Create a running list
Open a group chat, click the More icon in the lower-right corner, and select Running List. Enter the list title, add a description, and select a title color. Click Publish to post the running list to the group.

When the running list is posted, a base is created, with Base Assistant as the owner. The base will be named as [Group name + Title] by default.

III. FAQs
Can I use running lists on the mobile app?
Yes, running lists are supported in version 7.18 and above.
Do running lists take up storage space and count toward my automated workflow usage?
Running lists are created in Base. When you create a running list, it will be saved to your cloud storage and count toward your automated workflow usage.
How many items can be added to a running list?
500 items (500 records in Base).
Who can view the results of a running list?
Running list results can be accessed by users with Base view permissions. Base permissions follow the default permission settings for internal documents. For example, if the administrator has turned off external sharing in the Lark Admin Console, external users in the group chat will not be able to view the results.
Can I create a running list in an external group?
Yes. However, an administrator must first allow members to communicate with external users and turn on external sharing permissions.
How do I stop accepting new entries?
This is not supported. When the limit of 500 entries is reached, the list will automatically close.
How can I modify or edit the results of a running list?
You can duplicate the base to edit or modify the running list results.
Note: You cannot duplicate the base if the administrator turns off copy permissions for Lark Docs in the Lark Admin Console.
