💼 Onboarding checklist
Get started by creating a day 1 checklist.
- Open a new Doc, and create a list to guide new team members
- Use @ to add a link to relevant documents so that new team members can proactively prepare for their first day
Required documents for onboarding
- Prepare a copy of your ID card (sign in a blank space)
- A copy of your graduation certificate and/or degree certificate
- Proof of labor contract termination from a previous employer that predates the upcoming onboarding date
- A copy of a China Merchants Bank card under your name (write the card number in a blank space and sign))
📑 To-do list
Creating clear to-do lists is a great way to provide structure and information to guide new hires through their first few weeks. You can list out specific deliverables and add deadlines so that they are able to complete each part of the onboarding process in a timely manner.
- Under the + button on the left, click Task List to add a to-do list.
- Where needed, add a deadline to the tasks.
- @mention a team member to notify them of a specific task.
- Use @ to include a link to relevant documents.

👫 Add group invitation cards
Insert group invitation cards in a document to direct new hires to join relevant groups. Whether it be for work, projects, or social groups, new hires can proactively join and managers will not have to worry about them missing out on important information.
- Under the + button on the left, click Add group invitation card and insert the appropriate group cards.
- The new hire can join the groups by clicking on the invitation cards.

☎️ Add contact info
Not knowing who to reach out to for information is a common pain point for new hires. To ease this, you can add specific contact people and how to reach them in an onboarding document. Use @ to mention the appropriate contact person. New hires can then click on a person's name and be redirected to a new dialog box.
- Use @ when mentioning a person's name. New hires can click through and be redirected immediately to a Lark dialog box to contact the person directly.
