I. Intro
Version requirements:
- Windows or Mac Meeting Rooms and Rooms Controller version 7.0 or above.
- Android Meeting Rooms version 7.8 or above.
You can use subtitles and translation to make your meetings more efficient and inclusive. Your meeting room may have either or both types of devices: controller or touchscreen. Find the corresponding instructions below.
II. Steps
Turn subtitles on or off
- Controller
- Tap Subtitles to access the subtitles options.

- Tap the screen to bring up the control bar, tap More > Subtitles to access the subtitles options.

Translate subtitles
- Controller
- Tap the > icon to the right of the Subtitles button to find the translation options. You can choose from Don't translate, Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, Thai, Hindi, Indonesian, Traditional Chinese, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Vietnamese, Russian, German, Italian, Arabic, Polish, Tagalog (Filipino), Malay, and Turkish.

- On the touchscreen version of Rooms, tap the Translation icon to the right of the subtitles to find the translation settings. You can choose from Do not translate, Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, Thai, Hindi, Indonesian, Traditional Chinese, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Vietnamese, Russian, German, Italian, Arabic, Polish, Tagalog (Filipino), Malay, and Turkish.

Display bilingual subtitles
- Controller
- After turning on the subtitles, tap the > icon to the right of the CC icon. Select the target translation language, and turn on Show source text and translation together.
- Note: If you do not select a target translation language (or select Don't translate), the subtitles will only display the language spoken by the speaker after you turn on Show source text and translation together.

- After turning on the subtitles, tap the Translation icon in the upper-right corner of the subtitles bar. Tap Show source text and translation together.
- Note: If you do not select a target translation language (or select Don't translate), the subtitles will only display the language spoken by the speaker after you turn on Show source text and translation together.
