I. Intro
If your organization has already enabled the Lark business email password feature, and your organization's admin has assigned passwords for you in the Lark Admin console. You can use the Lark business email and password assigned by the admin to log in to Lark directly on the Lark app (version 5.2 or above).
II. Steps
1. For new members

Scenario: The administrator has imported new members and assigned business emails in the Admin console, and distributed these business emails and login passwords to members.
1.1 Log in with your phone number
  • When you log in for the first time using your phone number and verification code, the password provided by the administrator will be invalid, and the business email will not be available as your login email address. If you want to log in with your business email later, open the Lark app, click your profile photo and go to Settings > Account and Security > Go to Account Security Center > Login Method to add your business email there.

1.2 Log in with your business email
Use your business email and the password assigned by the administrator for your first login.

1.3 Change the initial password
During login, enter the initial password sent by the administrator to complete verification. You'll then be asked to set a new password which will be required for your next login. You will be the only person that knows your new password.

2. For existing members
2.1 Log in with your phone number
You can log in with either an SMS verification code or your password.

2.2 Log in with your business email
Log in with your business email and password. If you forget your password, you can change it by referring to section 3 below.

3. Changing your password
3.1 Already logged in and need to set a password
If you choose to log in through the email verification code, but at the same time worry about the inability to log in due to the migration of third-party mailboxes to Lark, you can set your password by clicking your profile photo > Settings > Account and Security > Go to Account Security Center > Password.
3.2 Forgot password during activation or login
  • If you forget your password when activating your account, you will not be able to reset your password. Please contact the administrator to re-obtain your password.

  • If you forget your password during login and haven't enabled two-step verification, you can change your password by using an email verification code. If you can't receive the verification code, you need to contact the administrator to help you reset the password. If you have enabled two-step verification, you still need to contact the administrator to reset your password.
3.2 Already logged in, but forgot the old password when changing the password
If you haven't enabled two-step verification, you can reset your password by using an email verification code. If you can't receive a verification code, please contact the administrator to reset your password.

III. FAQs
Can I use other business emails to log in to the Lark app?
No, you can't. After administrators complete the configuration process for your business email and password, you can only use your business email and password to log in to the Lark app.
