I. Intro
You can use the multi-window function to open documents, chats, and emails in windows. This lets you split the screen and display multiple windows at the same time.

II. Steps
Open documents, chats, or emails
Method 1: Tap the Open in new window icon in the upper-left corner of a chat.

Method 2: Touch and hold a chat or document in the Chats or Docs list. Drag and drop the chat or document to the left or right of the list.
Method 3: Touch and hold a chat, document, or email in a list and select Open in New Window.

Display multiple windows
When you open documents, chats, or emails in a new window, Split View is turned on by default. In this view, the screen is divided into sections based on the number of windows. However, you can switch to Slide Over view. In this view, a smaller window slides in front of another window.

You can drag the dividing line left or right to adjust the width of windows.
You can also drag the dividing line towards the edge of the screen to close a window.

Slide Over
Touch and hold the ··· More icon in the upper-right corner of a window, then drag the window to the lower left or right corner of the screen and release.

To hide the window, touch and hold the dividing line and swipe right. To show the hidden window, swipe from the right edge of the screen towards the left.

Manage existing windows
You can find all open Lark windows using the following two methods:
Method 1: Swipe up to show the quick action bar, and then tap the Lark icon.

Method 2: Touch and hold the Lark icon when viewing your apps and select Show All Windows.

Close window
Tap the x icon in the upper-left corner of a window to close it.

Why can't I open multiple windows on my iPad?
Check if your iPad is up to date and is running the latest version. This function is available on iOS 13 and later.
Make sure you've installed the latest version of Lark.
