Issue
When you are signing up or logging in to your Lark account, you cannot receive the verification code after entering the email address or phone number.
Solution
  1. Click Resend code to request the verification code again.
  • Note: If you see a prompt like "Too many attempts", wait for at least 1 hour before trying again.

  1. Depending on the method you used to sign up or log in, perform the following checks to ensure that your email or phone can receive verification code messages.
  • After the check is completed, try requesting the verification code again.
  • If you use an email
    If you use a phone number
    • Check whether you have entered the correct email address.
    • Check whether the network connection of the email is working properly.
    • Check whether there are any problems such as abnormal login in the email. You can also try logging in to the email again.
    • Check whether enough storage space is available in your inbox to receive the verification code email.
    • Check whether the verification code email is in the junk or spam mail folder. Search that mail folder for an email with the domain name @service.larksuite.com. We recommend adding the domain @service.larksuite.com to the list of allowed domains for your email account so that you can receive the verification code email.
    • Check whether you have entered the correct phone number.
    • Check whether your phone is connected to the network.
    • Check whether you need to top up your phone credit. Try reboot your phone if needed.
    • Check whether you have enough storage space on your phone.
    • Check whether text message blocking is enabled on your phone's security software. You can look for the messages in the spam folder. In addition, it is recommended that you temporarily turn off the message blocking feature when registering or logging in so that you can receive verification code messages.

If you haven't received the verification code on your mobile phone, check the local social media apps you are using (for example, WhatsApp, Zalo, and Viber) to see if you have received a 6-digit verification code. The service provider may send the verification code to you through these platforms.
  • Note: This message may lack the word "Lark", and only include the 6-digit verification code. You can enter this code in Lark.
