II. Function modules
Account security score
The account security score represents the security level of the account, with a total of 100 points, which is divided into three levels: 85-100 points indicate a high security level, 60-84 points indicate a medium security level, and 0-59 points indicate a low security level. The higher the score, the more account security optimization operations have been completed, and the stronger the account's ability to resist risks. You can view your account security score on the Account Security Center page, and you can increase your account security check score by enabling two-step verification, setting up dynamic passwords, setting up backup verification methods, and so on, to protect account security. For more information, see .

Account protection
The account protection includes multiple account security functions:
  • Login method: It mainly includes Phone Number and Email Address. After setting or modifying the login phone number or email, during login, you can enter the login phone number or email, and enter the verification code obtained through this login method or the set login password to successfully log in to the account. For more information, see . You can also link your Google ID or Apple ID with your Lark account. After linking, the Google ID or Apple ID can also be considered as a login method for the account. When you log in, complete the Google ID or Apple ID verification to successfully log in to the account. For more information, see .

  • Login password: The login password can only be composed of numbers, English letters or English symbols, and must include at least two types, with a length of no less than 8 characters. After setting the login password, you can use the password instead of the verification code for login or identity verification when switching accounts. After the verification is passed, you can successfully log in or switch accounts. For more information, see .

  • Dynamic password: The dynamic password is a dynamic one-time password, composed of 6 digits. After enabling the dynamic password, when you cannot obtain the verification code through the login phone number or email, and have turned on two-step verification, you can use the dynamic password as one of the verification methods for two-step verification to perform identity verification and log in to the account. For more information, see Use OTP (one-time password).

  • Backup verification method: The backup verification method is a way to verify the identity of an account. You can set a certain phone number or email as the backup verification method. When you cannot get the verification code through the login phone number or email, and have turned on two-step verification, you can use the set backup verification method as one of the two-step verification methods to verify your identity and log in to the account normally. For more information, you can view Backup verification.

  • Security code: The security code consists of 4 Arabic numerals. You can set a security password for your account. When you use functions involving sensitive information (such as viewing pay slips or administrators dissolving a company in the Admin Console), the security password can be used to confirm your identity to protect the security of your account. For more information, see Set or change security code.

  • Screen lock protection: You can set a 4-digit screen lock password for Lark , and also add fingerprint unlock or facial unlock as a quick unlock method, enabling screen lock protection. When you leave your device temporarily, Lark will automatically lock. You need to use a numeric password, fingerprint or facial unlock, and you can use Lark only after unlocking. For more information, see Lock your screen.

  • Two-step verification: Two-step verification refers to a dual verification method that verifies through two identity verification methods. After two-step verification is enabled, when logging in or switching to this account, you need to complete two identity verifications at the same time. After verification, you can successfully enter this account. For more information, see Use two-step verification.

Login device
The login device module displays the computer, mobile phone or other devices that have logged into the current account. If you find a device that does not belong to you or a device that is not commonly used here, you can log out of it to ensure the security of your account. For more information, see Manage logged-in devices.

Account management
The account security management module includes account appeal and account cancellation functions. When your account encounters abnormal situations or you no longer use a certain account, you can complete the corresponding appeal or cancellation operations here.
  • Account appeal: If your account receives a ban prompt, causing you to be unable to log in normally, you can follow the page guide to submit an account appeal. If the phone number or email used to log into your account has been discontinued and you cannot modify the login phone number or email yourself, or forget the password and cannot reset the login password yourself, you can choose the corresponding appeal reason to submit an account appeal here. After the appeal is successful, you can use Lark normally. For more information, see .

  • Account deletion: If you no longer use a certain account, you can delete it. After deletion, the account will be unusable and cannot be recovered, and all data under the account will also be deleted. For more information, see .

The security management module includes app authorization management function. You can view all apps that have the right to access your Lark account information here, and manage authorizations.
