Add task and sub-task owners

Add task and sub-task owners

2 min read
I. Intro
You can assign owners to tasks and their sub-tasks. These members will be responsible for completing the tasks you've created. Multiple owners can be assigned to an individual task and you can set whether one or all owners need to mark the task as complete.
II. Steps
Add task owners
When creating a task, you're the owner by default. To add owners, click your name and select members from the list. Alternatively, use the search bar to find and select them.

When creating tasks in chats (both private and group chats) and topic groups, you can quickly select members in the chat and add them as task owners. For more information, see Create tasks.
When viewing a task list, click a task to view its details. Then, click the current task owner and select members from the list to become owners. Alternatively, use the search bar to find and select them.

When creating or editing a task, you can set a condition to determine when the task is completed by multiple owners. There are two options available:
  • Task completed when everyone completes.
  • Task completed when anyone complete.
