I. Intro
In Lark Tasks, you can view all your tasks as well as edit, delete, and leave tasks. Tasks you create in private or group chats can be viewed in the chat task list.
II. Steps
View and edit tasks in Tasks
View tasks
Click Tasks in the Lark navigation bar to open Lark Tasks. In the left sidebar of Tasks, you can switch categories and view tasks related to you:
By role
  • Owned: Tasks you own.
  • Subscribed: Tasks you're subscribed to.
  • Created: Tasks you've created (including tasks you've created but to which no owners have been added).
  • Assigned: Tasks you've assigned to others.
Note: The above categories show Ongoing tasks by default. You can switch between Ongoing, Completed, and All Tasks in the upper toolbar.
By task progress
Completed: All completed tasks.
No categorization
All Tasks: Summarizes all tasks related to you, including completed tasks.
By project
Task List: Tasks in the list you have access to.

Click a task to view the task details page where you see the task due time, comments, the creator, and more.
You can click the ··· icon in the upper-right corner > View History to view previous changes made to the task.

Edit tasks
You can update task information in two ways:
Method 1: On the Tasks homepage, directly edit the relevant fields.

Method 2: Click the task and edit its title, description, due time, owner, and other information on the task details page.

Delete or leave a task
Task creators can delete tasks. Owners can leave tasks, while subscribers leave and unsubscribe from tasks. Deleting or leaving multiple tasks at the same time is not supported.
  • If you are the task creator, click the task, then select the ··· icon > Delete.

View and edit tasks in a chat task list
You can view and edit tasks from private and group chats in a chat task list.
Click the ··· icon > View Tasks in the upper-right corner to bring up the chat task list. All tasks sent to this chat will appear here and be categorized by their status. In addition, tasks are displayed in order of due time.
  • If you are the task creator or owner and need to update the task information, you can click the corresponding task, edit the relevant information of the task on the details page, and add comments to the task.
  • If you are a task creator and you no longer need a task, click the ··· icon in the upper-right corner > Delete to delete the task.

  • Click Open Tasks to jump to the homepage of Lark Tasks.

Search for tasks
Click the search bar in the upper-left corner of the Lark app to open the search window. Enter /tasks or click More > Tasks, and then enter your keywords. Relevant tasks will then be displayed. Click the corresponding task to view and edit details.

Can I create tasks with multiple people?

How can I check who has not completed a task?
  • If the task is set as Task completed when everyone completes, go to the task details page, click the profile photo(s) of the owners, and then click [number] Completed in the lower-right corner to see who has or hasn't completed the task.

  • If the task is set as Task completed when anyone completes, it means any one of the owners can mark the task as complete. If the task is marked as incomplete, it means none of the owners have marked the task as complete. Once any of the owners mark the task as complete, the entire task will be marked as completed.
