I. Intro
Smart Correction utilizes AI and machine learning to check for errors when you're typing in English or Chinese. It then provides suggestions to fix them. In English, Smart Connection looks for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors. In Chinese, it looks for incorrect characters and punctuation.
Note: This function only works when you type messages in a chat, create or edit Lark docs, or compose emails on the desktop app.
II. Steps
  1. Click your profile photo and go to Settings > Efficiency, and then turn on Smart Correction.
  • You can choose whether to enable Smart Correction for Messages, Docs, or Emails.
  • If you don't want Smart Correct to provide spelling suggestions for particular words, click Open Dictionary and add the words there.

  1. If there's an error in something you've typed, Lark will display a red line. Click the word to view the suggested change you should make.
  • If the suggestion is correct, click the word to replace it.
  • If the suggestion is incorrect, click Ignore.
  • You can also give feedback on suggestions. Click the ··· More icon in the upper-right corner of the suggestion box and select Give feedback.

III. FAQs
Why doesn't Smart Correction identify some errors?
To provide more accurate suggestions, Smart Correction sometimes evaluates the overall context based on additional input.
When multiple members edit the same document, does ignoring a suggestion made by Smart Correction affect them?
If a suggestion by Smart Correction is ignored by a member editing the document, other members editing the same document will not see the suggestion.
Can Smart Correction identify errors in documents I've created in the past?
No.
