I. Intro

The Lark app is always the best way to experience Lark's wide variety of features on desktop and mobile devices. Download Lark on macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, or Linux.

II.Steps

Lark for Windows

System requirement

Windows 7 or above. There is only a 32-bit version of the Windows installation package. There is no 64-bit version available.

Download and install

Go to the official website to download Lark for Windows.

Open the downloaded folder.

Double-click the Lark_X.X.X.exe file and follow the instructions to complete installation.

Double-click the Lark icon on your desktop or in the Start menu to launch Lark, then enter your account and password to log in.

Lark for macOS

System requirement

macOS 10.13 or above.

If you're currently using macOS 10.12 or earlier, see How to download and install macOS and upgrade to the latest version.

Note: If you are using a Mac with an Apple chip, please download the Lark app that is compatible with Apple chips. Supported versions are macOS 11.0 and above.

Download and install

Go to the official website to download Lark for Mac.

You can select either Lark for Apple chip or Lark for Intel chip.

Note: To confirm which chip you have, click the Apple icon in the upper-left corner of your desktop and select About This Mac. You can see the chip type in the "Chip" or "Processor" section of the pop-up window.

Open the downloaded folder.

Double-click the Lark_X.X.X.dmg file, then drag the Lark icon into your Applications folder.

Launch Lark from your Launchpad or your Applications folder. After you launch Lark, enter your account and password to log in.

Lark for iOS

System requirement

iOS 13.0 or above.

Compatible with iPhone and iPad.

Download and install

You can download Lark using the following 2 methods:

Method 1: Go to the official website through your device's browser and follow the instructions to download and install Lark.

Method 2: Search for "Lark" in the App Store, then download and install Lark.

After you download Lark, tap the Lark icon on your device's homepage to launch Lark, then enter your account and password to log in.

Lark for Android

System requirement

Android 5.1 or above.

Download and install

You can download Lark using the following 2 methods:

Method 1: Go to the official website through your device's browser and follow the instructions to download Lark.

Method 2: Go to the Google Play store through your device's browser and download Lark.

After you download Lark, open the installation package and follow the prompts to complete the installation.

After you install Lark, find and open the Lark app in your apps list, then enter your account and password to log in.

Lark for Linux

Go to the official website, then select Lark for Linux.

Download the corresponding installation package based on your CPU architecture and supported installation package formats.

Open the downloaded installation package. Double-click to open the file. Follow the instructions to complete installation.

Double-click the Lark icon on your desktop or in your Start menu to launch Lark. Enter your account and password to log in.

Why can't Lark run normally on my device?

How can I customize Lark's installation as a Windows user?

⁣Once you've downloaded Lark from the website, you can select Launch on startup if needed. You can also select the folder you'd like to install Lark in by clicking Custom Options.

What should I do if I'm notified that the installation package is incomplete when downloading Lark for Windows?

Notice: The steps in this article are for reference only. The actual steps might vary due to different Windows versions..

Perform the following steps:

Right-click the installation package > Properties > Digital Signatures.

If the Digital Signatures tab is not under Properties, or if the signature list is empty, or if it says This digital signature is invalid, try downloading the installation package again.

Note: If this problem occurs when changing the browser or repeatedly downloading the installation package, contact Support.

If there is a signature in the signature list but it's saying something else rather than This digital signature is valid or This digital signature is invalid, try the steps below:

Open the Start menu, enter cmd, and press Enter to open the Command Prompt window.

Drag the installation package to the Command Prompt window, enter --ignore_signature and press Enter to install.

If the problem still cannot be solved, contact Support.

How to silently install Lark for Windows?

Press the Windows key + R to open the Run window.

Enter powershell and press Enter.

In Powershell, enter [Lark installation package download path] + space + command line parameter --command=quiet_install.

Why did Lark fail to be installed on Mac?

Check if you dragged Lark into the Applications folder during installation. Installation is complete only after you drag Lark into the Applications folder

What should I do if I'm notified that the current version of Lark is not compatible with my version of macOS during installation?

You need to confirm your Mac's chip type. The version of Lark designed for Apple chips will not work on Macs with Intel chips. Click the Apple icon in the upper-right corner of your Mac and go to About This Mac to check whether you're using an Apple or Intel chip.

If you can't confirm what chip you have, we recommend you download the version designed for Intel chips.
