Lark Approval is divided into three main steps:

- Create rules: First, it's a good idea to customize Approval's forms, processes, and rules, to ensure they fit with your organization's structure and needs. However, some approval templates will be usable by default.
- Submit request: Organization members can submit requests through Approval whenever needed. When making the submission, the member must fill out the approval form and attach any required materials.
- Process approval: After a request has been made, it will go through each designated approver in turn. The request will only pass if every person in the process approves it.
III. Roles
There are three main roles in Lark Approval. At different times, you might take on one or more of these roles.
- Administrator: Through the Approval Admin, administrators can create and manage approvals, including by designing forms, processes, and other rules.
- Requester: A requester is any organization member who has made a request through Approval.
- Approver: These are organization members who either approve or reject requests. Generally, these members would normally be in a management role, such as team leaders, finance staff, or HR personnel.
