A true Singaporean success story, Hi-Beau International has made a name for itself as a leading innovator in the field of beauty and wellness, producing a variety of supplements, tonics and other health products.

From its founding around a decade ago, the company has grown to over 80 people in Singapore with dozens more in offices around the world.

As the company continued to grow, management required more complex team management tools, ideally one that had everything they needed in a Single platform.

The Challenge

In the beginning, Hi-Beau International relied on basic, off-the shelf communication platforms like Skype and Zoom that were not built for the kind of seamless collaboration needs that company management was looking for.

In particular, as team sizes grew, management needed an easy, efficient way to manage staff attendance and leave applications but found that none of their current tools would suffice, adding to an already bloated collaboration tech-stack.

Management also wanted a better scheduling system so as to give managers the oversight needed to better plan resource allocation.

Lark’s comprehensive suite of enterprise collaboration tools allowed Hi-Beau International to unify all their collaboration and communications.

Off the bat, Lark Approval and Attendance improved the HR process by offering company management an incredibly modular system that could work as well on mobile as it does on PC.

Lark’s superior team communication features also meant that the Hi-Beau team began using Lark Messenger for office chat and Lark Video conferencing for video calls.

Lark Calendar was also a big hit with company management as it allowed for very clear and dynamic viewing not only of team schedules but also integration with other parts of Lark.

Lark’s ability to work effectively across geographies has also allowed the team in Singapore to effectively work with counterparts in in China without the need for a VPN.
