Managers had to submit hiring briefs for headcount approvals aimed at boosting team productivity. However, the lack of tools for transparency in approvals and hiring process led to a cumbersome process. This complexity risked creating a perception among managers that hiring was too difficult, which, in turn, discouraged them from replacing under-performers.

Efforts to establish a writing culture with pre-reads were hampered by fragmented tools, making document tracking a hassle and slowing adoption of this best practice.
Solution: Lark Meetings transformed townhalls into more interactive sessions, with emoji reactions and chat features encouraging active participation.
Because Lark Docs is natively integrated into the Lark ecosystem, it has become easier to establish a writing-first approach. Lark Docs is easy to find and attach to other functionalities such as meetings or conversations without toggling to another app. Specifically, whenever a link to Lark Docs is shared on chat or on meeting invites, a preview card surfaces key information, allowing people to grasp the information quickly and efficiently.
Automatic meeting transcriptions and instant AI-generated summaries allowed team members to quickly digest key points, turning a 30-minute meeting into a 10-minute read. With one-click translations, minutes were easy to review, boosting team productivity and decision-making.
