- Steps
Insert sticky note
There are four ways to insert sticky notes:
- Method 1: Hover over the Sticky note icon on the left toolbar and drag a sticky note onto the board.

- Method 2: Press N and click a spot on the board.

- Method 3: Select an existing sticky note and hover over a circle around it. The circle will turn into a plus sign—click it to add a sticky note on that side.

- Method 4: Double click an existing sticky note and press tab to create a new one to the right of it.

Edit sticky notes
2.1 Text
You can enter text on a sticky note, and adjust the text color, background color, and font size from the floating toolbar. You can also use ordered/unordered lists, text alignment, bold, strikethrough, and add links.

2.2 Fill color and shape
After selecting the sticky note, you can adjust its fill color or select a new shape from the floating toolbar.

2.3 Author
The author is shown in the lower-left corner of the sticky note. To hide the author, select the sticky note and click the Show author icon on the floating toolbar to hide it. To show the author again, click that icon again.

2.4 Size
Select the sticky note and drag one of the four sides or corners of the sticky note to resize it.

Note: If the font size of the sticky note is set to Auto:
- The font size will change with the size of the sticky note.
- The font size will automatically change with the amount of content in the sticky note.
