I. Intro​

Version requirements: Lark version 7.11 and above.​

​

If you're forwarded a combined batch of messages, you can directly forward a single message from the batch.​

II. Steps​

1. In a chat, click on a combined message to see its details.​

2. Right-click on the individual message you want to forward and click Forward. You can forward a text message, rich text message, image, video, file or message card.​

Note: If an image or video is part of a rich text message, it can't be forwarded separately from the rest of the rich text message.​

3. Select the chat to which you want to forward the message, and click Send.​

Can I send a message when forwarding something?

Yes, you can leave a message or @mention someone when forwarding messages. ​

How can I find members or groups when forwarding messages?

After you click Forward or the Forward icon, the Forward to window opens. It will display the seven most recent contacts or groups to which you've forwarded messages. You can select one or click Multiselect if you want to select multiple recipients. ​

Under Recently viewed in the same window, you'll see chats you've recently opened. You can select one or click Multiselect if you want to select multiple recipients. ​

How can I avoid forwarding the wrong message?

In the Forward to window, you'll see a preview of what you're forwarding. Click the preview to open a window that displays all the message(s) you're forwarding. ​

You can preview individual and combined messages, rich text messages, images, videos, files, threads, message cards, and more.​
