I. Intro

When another user invites you to participate in an event, you can view and reply to the event invitation.

II. Steps

When you receive an event invitation, you can select Yes, No, or Maybe at the bottom of the invitation card to accept, reject, or tentatively accept the invitation.

Will the event initiator be notified if a participant rejects the event?

By default there is no notification when an event invitation is rejected. However, users can click the profile photo and go to Settings > Calendar to enable Notify me when someone declines my invitation. Then when a participant rejects the event, the event initiator who has enabled the option will be notified.
