Pin a message

I. Intro
You can pin important messages to the top of private or group chats, so they can be viewed and accessed by all members in the chat.
II. Steps
Pin a message
  • Desktop: Hover over the message you want to pin and then click the ··· More icon > Pin.

  • Mobile: Touch and hold the message you want to pin and tap Pin in the pop-up menu.

View pinned messages
You can view all pinned messages. Messages are displayed in chronological order in a list, with the first one being the most recently pinned message.
  • Desktop: Click the Pinned tab at the top of the chat to view all pinned messages in the chat.

  • Mobile: Tap the Pinned tab to view all the messages that have been pinned in the chat.

Unpin a message
You can unpin a message from a chat in the following two ways.
Unpin in the message menu
  • Desktop: Hover over the message you want to unpin and then click the ··· More icon > Unpin.

  • Mobile: Touch and hold the message you want to unpin, and then tap Unpin.

Unpin in the pinned tab
  • Desktop: Click the Pinned tab at the top of the chat. Hover over the message that you want to unpin and click the Unpin icon.

  • Mobile: Tap the Pinned tab at the top of the chat. Tap the ··· More icon in the upper-right corner of the message that you want to unpin, and then select Unpin.

III. FAQs
Can I view all the messages I've pinned in my current login account?
No, you can only open a chat and view the pinned messages in the open chat.
