Introduction

As a business dedicated to helping you bring more joy to your work, we wanted to understand how businesses in Singapore were dealing with the massive changes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and the almost overnight shift to remote, flexible working.

To achieve this, we partnered with insights firm, Milieu Insight, a Singapore-based consumer research firm. The poll included over 1000 respondents who are currently employed in a PME (Professionals, Managers and Executives) role or vocation and working at least 35 hours a week.

Key Findings

The notion that flexible work is temporary and something that future generations will look at as a quirk of the Covid-19 era is proving to be incorrect as a large majority of PME's surveyed indicated a strong preference for continuing flexible work, even after the worst of the pandemic is over.

For managers, a key takeaway from the survey was that most respondents were not satisfied with their current remote working tools indicating that they were adding friction and reducing efficiency.

A majority of respondents also indicated that there are too many individual tools to keep track of and manage while remote working. A strong presence was shown for a consolidated platform that combined key functions into a simple to use application.
