Desty is fast growing startup focusing on providing tools for online sellers, influencers, and creators to create their online presence. Users can create landing pages optimized for link-in-bios and build their own branded online store at the click of a button, for free. The company is best known for two products, Desty Page and Desty Store. Desty Page is a tool that creates landing pages optimized for link in bio at social media accounts, meanwhile Desty Store is a service that allows users to easily create an e-commerce store complimentary to marketplaces.
The Challenge
Prior to Lark, Desty made use of more siloed third-party collaboration solutions such as Whatsapp, Dingtalk and Slack. However, due to a lack of integration with other key tools, the team had to upkeep multiple applications for basic tasks, leading to greater inefficiencies.
Another major pain point for Desty was in inter-office collaboration between the teams in China and Indonesia. Slack in particular was not very effective at cross-border collaboration, impeding growth and causing unnecessary friction.
